A print by the French illustrator and artist Philippe Grimaud. The Play Series is all about pop. Philippe created this series with two ideas in mind. He wants to make the celebrities, artist, professionals more accessible. But also kick a little against the establishment. His weapon of choice? Toys. This print depicts Ray Charles, the famous musician. Interestingly enough, even though he is depict as a toy, Ray Charles is clearly recognisable.

Philippe Grimaud created this pigment ink print using digital media and printed it on 190 gsm ‘William Turner’ paper. It’s a limited edition, limited to 30.
