‘The First Kiss’ is an original painting by the Irish artist Paul Crozier. It’s an experimental painting combining Paul’s signature semi-abstract style with figurative elements. The figurative elements chosen for this experiment all relate to the theme of love. Most prominent is the couple having their first kiss with the moon as their canvas. He completed the scene with more subtle elements, such as the starry sky shining on the rocky landscape, reminiscing of Paul’s home country, Ireland.
