‘Japanese Moonlight’ is unique work of art by the Dutch painter Paul Berbée. With this painting Paul has strived to capture the image of an ocean by night, lit by a full moon. This painting is different from Paul’s usual work in the sense that it not finished in the same fashion. The mesmerizing black and white contrast was achieved by leaving parts of the white canvas uncovered.
