The Gentleman is an original creation by Megan Serene. This wildlife based piece is a highly detailed charcoal drawing of a peacock. Besides the tremendous detail there is another aspect that is undeniable. Megan has chosen to draw the peacock on 13 books of Shakespeare, creating a poetic synergy between the great writer’s stories and the wildlife depict on it. You may also note that a certain harmony is found in drawing of wildlife on what once found in nature, paper.
