‘Venus III’ is a unique work of art by the Polish artist Julita Malinowska. It’s part of a new series in which Julita compares classical beauty with real life. In this painting we find Venus Giorgione and a elderly couple. The dark, almost black sea builds up a certain tension in the artwork. The couple looks surprised, but they don’t seem to notice the snow-white dreaming beauty.
