‘Spring Snow’ is a limited edition photograph by the Belgian artist David Degelin. David was able to transform an everyday, maybe even “ugly” place, an underground carpark, into a dynamic, mesmerizing urban scene.
“The work is inspired by Haru no Yuki, a novel by Yukio Mishima, the first in his Sea of Fertility tetralogy. It portrays the Belgian model Cassandra Marloye on the lower floors of an underground parking lot in the centre of Brussels. Using the white powder from fire extinguishers we were able to make it snow inside the carpark.” — David Degelin
‘Spring Snow’ is printed on Hahnemuehle Fine Art Print Photo Rag and measures 100 x 75 cm. It’s limited to 5 editions.
