NIGHT IS THE CATHEDRAL, IN THE BLUE AND SILENT SUNSET

This photograph was shot in the tiny train station of Bruxelles-Chapelle, hidden away in the Stalingrad quarter of Brussels, Belgium. The station only operates two lines and is rarely used. That said, somehow David enjoys wandering around as it exudes a rather bizarre and unique combination of intimate warmth and loneliness at the same time. The model portrayed in this image, Clothilde, managed to capture this feeling perfectly.

‘Night is the Cathedral, in the Blue and Silent Sunset’ is printed on 25O gsm Kodak Pro Endura paper and is available in two sizes: 70×105 cm (edition of 5) and 100×150 cm (edition of 5).
