HOW WOULD IT LOOK ON YOUR WALL?
€415,00 – €575,00
This photo was made during a portrait shoot in Ghent (Belgium). David experimented with the use of different claire-obscure approaches to create a series of intimate black and white portraits.
“I am always triggered by the beauty of portraits that reveal aspects of vulnerability and solitude.” — David Degelin
At the end of shoot the model, Ekaterina, sat down and while she was waiting for the light setup to change. David quickly took a photo without warning her while she was looking away. Being an experienced model, she quickly realized what happened and turned her eyes to the camera. At that precise moment David took just one shot and you’re looking at it.
‘I’m alone, in the outskirts, and in the fringes, on the edge, and off the avenue’ is printed on Ilford panchromatic black and white paper (matte) and is available in two sizes.
