GIVE ME A REASON

The concept of ‘Give Me a Reason’ was to involve the viewer by creating a portrait not only about a person, but with more complex hidden themes in order to force the viewer to take a moment and truly experience the image. The shoot for this photo, featuring model Ulrike, took place outside in the garden. When you watch closely you can tell that the coloured reflection in the mirror is the green of the garden and blue of the sky. The effect was created with a black screen, a rare mirroring transparent object found in a second hand shop and water.

‘Give Me a Reason’ is printed on 25O gsm Kodak Pro Endura paper and is available in two sizes: 100×100 cm (edition of 10) and 120×120 cm (edition of 10).
