‘Invasion’ is a limited edition photograph by the Russian photographer Dasha Pears. This photograph is about finding your path in life and how it is guided, sometimes even cluttered by experiences and emotions from the past.
“The origamis represent emotions that can sometimes be overwhelming, drive you in a direction, make you act a certain way. You can’t fight them. If you try, you will fail. So many of us have unresolved emotions from our childhood that drag us down and turn us miserable. You can only be at peace with yourself when you acknowledge these emotions, observe them, let them be, and let them pass through.” — Dasha Pears
‘Invasion’ is printed on museum-quality Hahnemühle Bamboo Fine Art paper (290 gsm, 90% bamboo fibres, 10% cotton) and measures 50 x 50 cm. It’s limited to just 12 editions.
All Dasha’s fine art prints have a 3 cm (1.2 inch) border for framing and are signed on the front and on the back. They come with the story behind the artwork, as well as a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.
