HOW WOULD IT LOOK ON YOUR WALL?
€1.250,00 – €1.360,00
‘Black Birds’ is a limited edition photograph by the Russian photographer Dasha Pears. This work is part of a project shot in collaboration with the tourist board of Old Porvoo, a charming little town in Finland. It tells the story of a girl who lives in Porvoo and all places that are special to her, like the ancient church that is depicted in the background. The black origami birds symbolize dreams, hope, and the sense of freedom that fills the heart of the girl in question. Blackbirds are also deeply routed in the culture of Old Porvoo. Similar to the pigeons on Saint Marco Square.
‘Black Birds’ is printed on museum-quality Hahnemühle Bamboo Fine Art paper (290 gsm, 90% bamboo fibres, 10% cotton) and is available in two different sizes.
All Dasha’s fine art prints have a 3cm (1.2 inch) border for framing and are signed on the front and on the back. They come with the story behind the artwork, as well as a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity. Sizes measuring 120 cm on any side (gallery-size) take about 2-3 weeks to produce before being shipped.
