‘Below’ is a limited edition work of art by the Danish Artist Poul Christensen a.k.a. Cpart. It’s an abstract composition inspired by nature; trees & wood. Poul visualized this concept by using strong primary colours consisting of strong and light green tones contrasting the warm, reddish and orange tones, all circling around the blue centre.

“Below. Trees and wood inspired me. Maybe because I spent so much time in my grandfathers carpentry as a child. Often he would look after me and let me sit and watch him work, he would create for me and help me create. I remember all details, the smell and his love and today, now that he is no longer here, I still have the love for the craft – creating things in wood.” — Poul Christensen

‘Below’ is created from a digitally manipulated photograph. It’s printed on glossy photography canvas using digital latex printing, preserving the rich colours and deep, dark tones. The artwork measures 70 x 105 x 4 cm and ships ready to hang. It’s limited to 29 editions.
