Corps Céleste’ is unique work of art by the French artist C. Lyaudet. It depicts the search for the inner animal that we all possess. This work aims to bring out the sensations and animalistic instincts and capture them on canvas. The symbolism of the female body with the birds heads also led to a discovery of new technique of painting for Lyaudet. It inspired her to use a less gentle, rougher technique compared to her other work.

‘Corps Céleste’ is created using acrylic paint and watercolour ink applied on paper. It measures 64 x 40 cm.
